BLVD Home is a regional home furnishing retailer with multiple locations across Nevada and Utah. They offer a wide range of furniture, appliances, and mattresses. At the time of this project, the company was undergoing a major brand refresh. Their goal: to shed the perception of being a "store for grandparents" and reintroduce themselves as a stylish, modern destination for younger, design-conscious shoppers.
As the lead designer focused on VIP clients, I was responsible for redesigning the BLVD Home website to align with their updated brand identity. I collaborated closely with two members of their marketing team during a discovery session to understand the new brand guidelines, the message they wanted to convey, and the key objectives for the site.
My primary goal was to design a homepage that reflected the new, modern direction of the brand while still feeling accessible and rooted in their values. I sourced high-quality product photography that showcased updated inventory and helped shift the visual language of the site. While adhering to the refreshed brand guidelines, I also infused the design with creative, playful touches—particularly through layout and color.
