My Role About the Collaboration

In 2021, Pottery Barn Kids teamed up with Sesame Street to launch a fun and playful collection of bedding and pajamas for toddlers. The collection featured everyone’s favorite characters on minimal, modern backgrounds, designed to bring personality into a kid’s room without overwhelming it.

My Role My Role

I was in charge of designing all the “Coming Soon” teasers and campaign assets for the launch. That included landing pages, emails, display ads, and social media posts and stories.

My Role The Objective

My goal was to find the sweet spot between Sesame Street’s bright, primary colors and the softer, neutral tones Pottery Barn Kids is known for. I incorporated pops of color through graphics and animation without letting the designs feel too loud, making sure everything felt playful and on-brand for both sides.

Web Design

Here are a few of the web assets I created, including and early access sign-up forms. I kept things clean with just enough character potraits to add charm without clutter.

Email Design

This promo email featured a simple animation that built a toddler room piece by piece using items from the new collection. It was a fun way to show how the pieces could come together.

Social Media Design

For Instagram, I designed a series of posts and stories with subtle animations—like characters popping into frame—to catch attention and bring a little movement to the feed.

Targeted Display Ad Design

I designed banner ads in multiple sizes, using animation where it made sense. The goal was to catch the eye without clashing with PBK’s clean brand style.
